Hola, Barcelona.

I am here!

Marie and Albert are asleep. The windows are open. The night is pleasantly cool.

Some observations:

* There are so many Indians that work at the London Heathrow Airport (my connection)! One of them was a Punjabi lady cleaning the toilets. Happy Kaur was her name. She immediately asked me where I was from, if I was married, and how could I leave my family back in the U.S.? I assured her that I'll be ok. She liked my nose ring.

* Catalan looks like Spanish. But different.

* It's true - shanks of pig hang everywhere, even from the restaurant in the airport.

* Jugo here is "zumo" and pronounced "thumo".

* I've forgotten the psychedelic strangeness of jet lag. Oh, jet lag.

Tomorrow I explore.

Goodnight!
